With Attitude

On Wednesday, October 17, at 10:00 a.m., at the Sebastián de Benalcázar Municipal Educational Unit, on December 6 and Irlanda Avenue, a press conference was held to launch the "With Attitude" campaign, aimed at the 20 municipal schools.

With the objective of generating critical awareness of the importance of growing up with values and principles, Pedro Fernández de Córdova, Secretary of Education, Recreation and Sports, and Neil Pacheco, President of ilive international, established a cooperation agreement to develop the campaign.

It is expected to reach 25,000 students, from the first year of General Basic Education to the third year of General Unified High School, their families, teachers and authorities of the 20 municipal institutions, including educational units and high schools.

Each school will be visited by a caravan that will use playful and innovative tools to socialize the "10 principles of citizenship", proposed and promoted by the Leaders to Govern Corporation, to contribute to the construction of the civic culture of the country:

  4. Seek the welfare and development of your community
  5. Inspire and lead with your actions
  6. Builds and strengthens democracy

  10. Making your dreams come true makes Ecuador great

From October 17 to November 15, the caravans will tour the following educational establishments: Benalcázar, Alfredo Pérez Guerrero, Manuel Cabeza de Vaca, Cotocollao, Pedro Pablo Travesari, Fernández Madrid, Julio Moreno Peñaherrera, Rafael Alvarado, Juan Wisneth, Nueve de Octubre, Humberto Mata Martínez, José Ricardo Chiriboga, Calderón, Julio Enrique Moreno, Del Milenio Bicentenario, Antonio José de Sucre, Oswaldo Lombeyda, San Francisco de Quito, Quitumbe and Eugenio Espejo.

"Con Actitud" is an initiative of ilive international and Corporación Líderes para Gobernar (CLPG), with the endorsement and support of Plan International, the GAD of the Metropolitan District of Quito and the country's private sector.
